The French Visa Application Centre in Lagos will process visa application for Netherlands. The Belgium Visa Application Center in Lagos and Abuja will process visa applications for Estonia from 1 March, 2012.

The Embassy of Belgium in the Abuja is pleased to announce the opening of their Visa Application Centre operated by VFS Global Services Nigeria Limited in Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria. This service is available to all Nigerian Nationals and other Nationalities with valid resident permit for Nigeria who wish to apply for a Belgium, Luxemburg ,Lithuania, the Netherlands and Estonia Visa.

Belgium is responsible for visa application which the main destination is Belgium, Luxemburg, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Estonia.
The Embassy of Belgium will only process SHORT STAY VISAS FOR THE FOLLOWING CONTRIES; Netherlands, Estonia and Lithuania.

The Belgium Visa Application Centre in Abuja will process visa applications for Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg, Lithuania and Estonia.

The Belgium Visa Application Centre in Lagos will process visa applications only for Belgium, Luxemburg, Lithuania and Estonia.

If applicants wish to apply for a visa for Belgium Luxemburg, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Estonia. we strongly recommend that they read the information on this site. The provided guidelines on this site are to help them prepare their application as accurately as possible and to prevent any processing delays.

All applicants will submit their applications to VFS Application Centre with the following exceptions

	Holders of Diplomatic Passports
	Spouses/husbands of EU Citizens. Children of EU citizens.

Interviews

Submission at any Visa Application Centre does not foreclose the possibility of an interview. An applicant may be invited by the Embassy if the need arises to do so.

Interviews are compulsory for Student Visas and Family Réunion.... applicants in this category should have a mindset on this, as they can be called upon anytime for the interview in Abuja

Applicants are requested to read the following steps carefully before submitting their application at the Belgium Visa Application Center, Lagos and Abuja.

Step 1 :	Applicant is required to submit their application personally at the application centre. In the case of minor, parent or guardian must accompany them on the day of submission.
Step 2 :	Make a clear copy of all the original documents, three clear copy of passport data pages and applicant’s any previous visas.
Step 3 :	Complete the visa application form. Applicant has to download the visa application form from our website.
Step 4 :	Pay the applicable visa fee and service fee at the bank teller counter at the Visa Application Centers (Lagos & Abuja).
Step 5 :	Along with application form and documents mentioned on this site applicant can come to VFS application center at the below mentioned addresses between 08.00 AM to 1.00 PM (Monday - Friday , except the holidays observed by the Belgium Embassy and Federal Government of Nigeria)

To ensure application is processed without any delay, following are the documents to be included.

	Complete & Signed visa application Form
	Original Passport & clear copy of applicant’s current passport.
	Supporting documentation as per the relevant checklist
	Receipt of Visa Application Fee & VFS service charges as applicable
